Before your first event
Once you know the rules, the best way to learn is to play with other people. Stores run Grand Archive events all the time, from casual weekly nights to Store Championships. Here’s how to get ready for your first one.
Make an Omnidex account
Omnidex is Grand Archive’s official organized play platform. Stores use it to run their events, and players use it to sign up for them. It runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to download.
To make an account, go to omni.gatcg.com and choose New player sign up. If you already have an account, use Existing player / host login instead.
With an account, you can RSVP for events ahead of time, and see how you rank on the Leaderboards. It’s worth making one before your first event.
Find events and stores near you
Omnidex has two ways to find a place to play. You don’t need an account to use either.
- Event Finder lists upcoming events. Search by address, or choose Use my location, then set how far you’re willing to travel. Switch to the Online tab for events you can play from home.
- Store Locator shows official Grand Archive stores on a map. It’s the place to look if there’s no event near you yet, since a store that sells the game is a good place to ask about local players.
A store’s regular weekly event is the best place to start. They’re usually relaxed, and a good place to meet other players.
Watch the game being played
Watching experienced players is one of the fastest ways to pick up how a turn flows. These channels are a good place to start.
